Blogs
A blog is a journal published on the Internet, a mix of personal thoughts and Web links. Some even have graphics and audio. The word blog is a shortened form of the term Web log. Blogs often are arranged by date, with the most recent entries first. The process of writing in a blog is called blogging.
As the process of setting up blogs has become easier, they have become more popular as classroom activities to encourage student writing. With an Internet connection and some software, even elementary students can become bloggers.
